Burke Trammel, Alamo defender, was born in Ireland in 1810 and traveled to Texas from Tennessee. He took part in the siege of Bexar. He later served in the Alamo garrison as a member of Capt. William R. Carey's artillery company. Trammel died in the battle of the Alamo on March 6, 1836.
Model's are made of metal. The scale is 60mm or 1/30th or 2 ½ inches tall approx. These are same highly detailed hand painted display models that the Briscoe uses in its own diorama.
